Advancement Software exists to teach technical analysis of continuation and consolidation patterns — especially flags, wedges, and triangles — without turning lessons into a signal service.
Origin
The practice began in Devon as informal evening sessions for friends who kept mistaking shallow pauses for textbook flags. Those evenings grew into structured workshops once it became clear that most frustration came from incomplete definitions, not from a lack of charting platforms.
Working approach
We teach with printed charts and digital markup side by side. Trainees draw poles, boundaries, and invalidation levels before discussing entries. If a pattern cannot be explained in plain language, it does not belong on a live order ticket.

Relationship with clients
Most participants are UK-based swing and position traders who already watch markets during London hours. Some arrive from private coaching after a workshop; others stay with group lessons for the peer review. We do not manage accounts or publish trade alerts — the relationship is instructional.
Our studio address in Stoke Canon hosts in-person intensives when travel is practical; live video covers the rest of the United Kingdom with the same worksheets and follow-up review.
