Evidence from the classroom charts

Comments from traders who sat through markup drills, not marketing quotes about vague outcomes.

I used to enter flags the moment price poked the upper line. The intensive forced me to measure the pole and wait for a proper close. Still caught myself rushing once in the homework pack — that honesty in the review notes was useful.

The clinic spent real time on rising wedges that look like healthy pullbacks. I finally stopped treating every converging pair of lines as a signal to fade.

We marked measured moves on paper before touching the platform. The false-break gallery was uncomfortable viewing — I recognised three of my own mistakes from last winter.

Coaching on my own FTSE watchlist meant we ignored textbook perfection and dealt with messy consolidations. Sessions are brisk; bring charts ready or you will feel behind.

Extended story

From impulsive flag entries to a written checklist

Sophie arrived having taken several continuation trades that looked like flags in hindsight but were little more than short pauses. During the intensive she rebuilt her checklist around pole quality, parallel boundaries, and volume contraction.

In the follow-up she submitted two live charts. One was declined as incomplete; the other earned a measured-move plan with invalidation beneath the flag. She later wrote that declining the first idea felt more valuable than catching the second.

Sophie Lang — Flag Pattern Intensive

Clear teaching, no signal service pitch. I wanted more time on bear flags specifically, and the instructor stayed after to walk two examples.
